Explanation of Services:
The initial in-office appointment will take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. It includes a thorough health history, infant examination (neurological, structural,) lactation consultation, including visual inspection of mother’s breasts, possible exam of mother’s breasts, a weighed feed and help with positioning and latching, an explanation of exam and feed findings, and, if warranted, baby’s first infant chiropractic adjustment.
My office accepts cash or checks (as well as Zelle) only, and will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance or health flex account for reimbursement. The fee for the initial visit is $300. The fee for follow-up visits is $105 or $135, or $165, depending on time spent and services provided.
My office is located at 2901 Ocean Park Boulevard, Suite 207 in Santa Monica. We are on the northeast corner of Ocean Park Boulevard and 29th streets. There is free parking in the building's lot.

Bio:
Dr. Pamela Abramson-Levine is a Pediatric, Prenatal, & Family Practice Non-Force Chiropractor, and an International Board-Certified Lactation Consultant. Her offices are on Ocean Park Boulevard and 29th Street in Santa Monica. Dr. Abramson-Levine’s journey to become a lactation consultant began as she witnessed many of her infant patients’ improved latch and breastfeeding outcomes as a result of her performing gentle adjustments to the newborns’ cranial bones, sacrum, pelvis, & vertebra. This inspired Dr. A to want to learn more ways to assist and support mothers and babies to successfully breastfeed. People often say to her “You’re so lucky to be around babies all day long!” To which she answers “Yes! And I am also so lucky to be around mommas all day long!” Dr. A. incorporates nutritional counseling, therapeutic exercise, herbal medicine, homeopathy, Ayurveda, and other natural health care methods into caring for her adult and pediatric patients. She is the mother of two adult children, both of whom were exclusively breastfed. Her firstborn was late premature, and had challenges with nursing, which were overcome thanks to the help of two IBCLCs, her own determination and commitment to exclusively breastfeed, and a nurturing breastfeeding support group. Dr. A. earned her Bachelor of Sciences degree in Physiological Sciences/Kinesiology from UCLA, her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences, and her Lactation Consultant education at UC San Diego. Dr. A specializes in Directional Non-Force Technique® (DNFT) adjustments, a very gentle and effective method of realigning the body to regain optimal biomechanical and neurological function, as well as to decrease pain. Dr. Abramson-Levine is also certified in the Webster Technique, a system for adjusting and properly aligning the pregnant pelvis and its associated structures in order to improve childbirth outcomes. Dr. A is passionate about helping new mothers and their babies in their breastfeeding journeys. Dr. Abramson-Levine has been in practice since 1993.
