Mustela prioritizes the use of carefully sourced natural ingredients in its formulas. Because Mustela is formulated in France, where the cosmetic safety guidelines are the strictest in the world, our products are free from the 1,400 ingredients that are banned by the European Union. This list includes: parabens, phthalates, phenoxyethanol, ammonium lauryl sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, MIT/MCIT (methylisothiazolinone / methylchoroisothiasolinone), cyclotetrasiloxane, p-Phenylenediamine and analogous compounds, BHA, benzophenone, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate, EDTA, triclosan, alcohol (ethanol)andessential oils.
All Mustela products are developed using our Stelaskin® technology, which allows us to safely and ethically test our products on a baby’s skin.
