Use Your Insurance Benefits for Lactation Support

At The Pump Station & Nurtury®, we believe every family deserves access to expert breastfeeding and infant feeding support. We partner with several insurance networks to help eligible families receive lactation consultations with little or no out-of-pocket cost.

Start by selecting the insurance option that best matches your health plan and completing the eligibility form. Most forms take only a few minutes to complete, though eligibility determinations may take up to two business days.

Please note: if you don't qualify through one of our insurance partners, you can still be seen as a self-pay client. You can contact the store at 310-998-1981 to schedule and pay for your appointment. Following your appointment, we'll provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement. Reimbursement amounts vary by plan and cannot be guaranteed.

Aetna & UnitedHealthcare - If you have either of these, we generally recommend starting with MilkWise (Healthie).

MilkWise works with many Aetna & UnitedHealthcare plans and provides a straightforward process for verifying coverage. → Check Eligibility with MilkWise

Cigna, Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield – If you have either of these plans, we recommend starting with Wildflower Health.

Wildflower is often the most successful pathway for obtaining coverage for in-person visits for Cigna members and virtual visits for Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield members. → Check Eligibility with Wildflower

Cedars Sinai HMO

We are contracted with Cedars-Sinai. If you have coverage through a Cedars-Sinai HMO plan, please ask your healthcare provider for a referral. Once your referral has been issued, you may email it to SantaMonica@PumpStation.com or call the store at 310-998-1981 for assistance scheduling your appointment.
