Rachel Brousseau, LMFT, RDT/BCT, PMH-C - Curriculum Director - The Pump Station Santa Monica
Rachel works in private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist and registered drama therapist, specializing in helping highly sensitive mothers throughout their motherhood journey. She is also a perinatal mental health certified specialist, supporting pregnant and postpartum moms who are struggling with perinatal mental health challenges and the transition into motherhood. Rachel is the mother to a loving, sensitive, and curious daughter who never slows down. She believes that support is a vitally important part of parenthood.
Laurie is a licensed psychotherapist in private practice in West LA, specializing in perinatal mental health issues and postpartum adjustment challenges. Laurie has over 20 years of experience working with families, and she has been an instructor at The Pump Station for over 9 years. Laurie's experience parenting twin daughters led to her passion for supporting new moms, and she loves to help parents gain confidence and clarity as they embark on their parenting journeys.
Julia P. Kantor, MFT - Group Leader The Pump Station Santa Monica
Julia has been a licensed psychotherapist in private practice for over 22 years. She specializes in mindful parenting with babies, toddlers, and parents. She has been leading Mommy and Me groups at the Pump Station for over 12 years and is the mom of 2 teenagers. Julia also frequently speaks on the Gottmans’ research-based tools for “babyproofing your marriage.”
Tracy Hofstatter, LMFT, ATR-BC - Group Leader The Pump Station Santa Monica
Tracy is a licensed psychotherapist, art therapist, and parenting educator who helps individuals and families access their strength and creativity to live a life that is attuned with their values and goals. Tracy has a dual Master of Arts degree in Marital and Family Therapy and Clinical Art Therapy from Loyola Marymount University and completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley. Tracy has clinical experience working with adults, adolescents, and children struggling with issues such as maternal mental health, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and parenting challenges. She is a Senior Lecturer in Loyola Marymount's graduate department of Marital and Family Therapy and also facilitates parenting groups and classes for the Pump Station. When not working, Tracy enjoys painting, reading, and spending time with her family, including two children and two cats.
Haley Blair, MSEd, Certified Life Coach - Group Leader The Pump Station Santa Monica
Haley has a Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Hunter College and is a Certified Life Coach. She is passionate about working with parents seeking support and guidance on the transition to parenthood. She also works with a range of clients on topics such as life transitions, relationships, stress management, time management, action commitment, and behavioral change. Haley has worked with children and families for over 15 years in a variety of settings. She has her own spirited 5 year old daughter who constantly keeps Haley on her toes! Haley loves working at the Pump Station where she strives to create an environment where parents feel comfortable sharing their experiences and can build their village.
Jasmine Abudalu, PsyD - Group Leader The Pump Station Santa Monica & Wilshire Boulevard Temple
Jasmine has a clinical doctorate in Psychology from Pepperdine University. Her professional experience is rooted in 13 years of clinical experience. She has been leading Parent/Mommy and Me groups for over 12 years. Jasmine has three children of her own and is passionate about the empowering and important impact of sharing the experience of motherhood with other women
Marilee Hartling MFT, RN - Group Leader Early Childhood Development Associates
Marilee is a licensed child and family therapist who specializes in working with young children and their families. She is also a registered nurse with a background in neonatology, pediatrics and Early intervention. She combines her medical experience with her knowledge of development psychology and mindful parenting to provide new parents with the support they need to adjust to the joys & challenges they face as new parents.
Marilee is also the founder and director of the Early Childhood Development Associates, a children's center on Melrose where she provides a variety of services and hosts Pump Station Groups for parents who live in the West Hollywood, Larchmont, Hancock Park area of L.A. Marilee is the mother of 4 grown children and grandmother of 8. She reminds us that parenting is a lifelong journey.
Beth has been a Pump Station group leader for more than a decade. She has also been a preschool director since 2010 and loves working with new families as they start their parenting journeys. She has two adult children, a patient husband, and a very grumpy.
