Our lactation support team has been working to help breastfeeding mothers meet their nursing goals for over 30 years. All of our lactation consultants are IBCLC certified, and most are registered nurses with a focus on newborn care.
We’d love to help you in the comfort of your own home or in one of our convenient store locations if you live in the Los Angeles area, and in person consultations are usually best if you are experiencing challenges achieving a deep latch. To schedule an in-person appointment, please call the store closest to you, or you can drop in for one of our breastfeeding support groups.
For many breastfeeding questions, we’ve found that they can be easily answered over the phone or video conference with one of our lactation experts. We schedule 25 minute phone consultations throughout the day to provide you with a focused, one on one appointment to help you cut through all the noise and get or keep you on track.
We’ve found that we can typically cover one or two of the topics below in the 25 minute appointment. If you have several questions you’d like to cover, we suggest booking two consecutive appointments which would run for approximately 55 minutes.

You’ll be given a list of available appointment times so you can select the one that’s most convenient for you. Same day appointments are not currently available, and please note that all appointment times are in the Pacific time zone.
We use MindBody to schedule our appointments. If you have an account, just log in. If not, you can quickly set one up. Please make sure you leave the boxes checked to receive email/text/SMS messages on scheduling so you can receive your appointment reminder and instructions.
We ask that you please set up for your appointment a couple minutes before it begins. You’ll want to go to the portal page shown on your confirmation from either your smartphone or a computer with a webcam, enter your email and your consultant’s code, and answer a couple of brief questions.
