Save A Little Life began when Richard decided it was time to take a simple, yet quality educational program into the community. His affiliation with the American Heart Association and continued focus on the latest CPR related science makes the Save A Little Life course a most current and modern approach to these life-saving skills. Richard has served as a clinical instructor of nursing at California State University Northridge since 2008.
Elizabeth Pena, RN, BSN has been working for 19 years in Nursing. Liz has been teaching with Save a Little Life since 2009. She teaches our Friends and Family Pediatric CPR and Home Safety course, Private in-home classes separately in Spanish and English, as well as professional First Aid and BLS courses. Liz says, "I love teaching English and Spanish language Pediatric CPR classes and Home Safety classes. Not only do I have fun teaching it, but it also gives me an immense sense of accomplishment in knowing that I am providing life-saving skills to people. It feels good to know that maybe someday an individual that was in my class may save someone's life, even if I never find out about it."
