Doula Spotlight - Sheri Poe

Each month we are featuring one of our Postpartum Doulas in Doula Spotlight series!!

This month we interviewed our fabulous doula Sheri Poe to find out everything from her favorite place to her TOP TWO TIPS for new parents!

I am a mom of 4, a postpartum doula, New Parent Educator, and Newborn Care Specialist who guides parents through the magical and transformational journey of becoming a family. 

Here's just a few of the "Fun Facts" we discovered about Sheri!

Where is your favorite place to travel?

I am obsessed with my Hawaii vacations on the north shore of Kawaii where I can snorkle to my hearts content! For local ‘stay-cations’ I love driving up to Paso Robles to go wine tasting.

What would you say is your spirit animal?

The hawk spirit guide represents perspective and the ability to see things from all sides- the perfect view for spiritual development. Words to describe the hawk: higher perspective, alertness, messages, vision, creativity, observations, protection

What are the top two tips you would share with new parents?

1. Try to relax and enjoy these early newborn weeks because they go so incredibly fast and before you know it your little one is running around the house.

2. You cannot spoil a baby by holding them too much! Nothing makes them feel more secure and happy than being held by mom or dad.

What do you love most about your job with The Pump Station?
