Wendy Haldeman is the Co-founder of The Pump Station & Nurtury™. She received both her nursing and lactation education at UCLA, is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBLC), and a certified Happiest Baby on the Block instructor. She lectures frequently on human lactation at medical and nursing schools and has been identified by publications, such as Fit Pregnancy, as an “expert” in her field.Wendy facilitates the New Mothers Support groups, and teaches the prenatal Breastfeeding and Prenatal Care classes at The Pump Station.

Dr. Stuart James Fischbein
OB/GYN | Co-author of Fearless Pregnancy, Wisdom & Reassurance from a Doctor, a Midwife and a Mom,

Dr. Fischbein is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics & Gynecology and a practicing obstetrician in Southern California. While well trained at Cedars-Sinai in the standard medical model of obstetrics he had the respect and vision to support the midwifery model of care and served as a backup consultant to many home and birthing center midwives for 25 years. In 1996 he founded The Woman's Place for Health, Inc., a collaborative practice of Certified Nurse Midwives and Obstetricians in Camarillo, California.

Dr Fischbein now works directly with home birthing midwives of Birthing Instincts & The Sanctuary offering hope for those women who cannot find supportive practitioners for VBAC, twin, and breech deliveries. He is honored to join the distinguished panel.

Louise Arce Tellalian
RN, CLC, FACCE

Louise is a registered nurse, Lamaze certified childbirth educator and a UCLA Certified Lactation Consultant. She is a lactation consultant in private practice and is also a nurse consultant and educator. Louise worked for 28 years at UCLA Extension training lactation professionals and has spent all her professional life in the area of Maternal-Child Health. She also was a founder of the Breastfeeding Task Force of Greater Los Angeles, served on its Board, and still puts together its Breastfeeding Resource Directory. She is the mother of two adults who were breastfed as babies and the grandmother of three who were also breastfed.

Yvonne Bohn, MD
OB/GYN

Dr. Bohn attended UCLA where she majored in Psychobiology and received her MD from USC Medical School. She completed her residency in OB/GYN at USC Women and Children’s Hospital. Dr. Bohn initially worked as an Asst. Clinical Professor at USC for three years and for the past 10 years has practiced at Spectrum Women's Health. She has been involved in "Deliver Me" on the Discovery Health Channel and has also contributed in the establishment of the Mommy Doc's Foundation which helps to deliver preventive health care to the women of L.A. With over 17 years of experience, Dr. Bohn co-published "The Mommy Doc's Ultimate Guide to Pregnancy and Birth" and blogs regularly on her website, www.mommydocs.com. Her goal is to educate women, especially regarding the importance of preventive health care, early detection and treatment of disease.

Rachel J. Kramer, MD, CLE
Beverly Hills Pediatrician

A native of Los Angeles, Rachel Kramer is a Board Certified Pediatrician in private practice. She and her partners, Jerry Whitman, M.D., and Monique Araya, M.D., are one of the most well established pediatric offices in Beverly Hills. After completing her undergraduate education at UCLA, Rachel traveled to Israel where she completed her medical school studies at the University of Tel Aviv, graduating at the top of her class. In 2001, Rachel returned to Los Angeles to complete her General Pediatrics residency training at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she was awarded Resident of the Year for her excellence in patient care, and the Neonatology Award for superior knowledge in the field of newborn medicine. During her residency, Rachel realized the great need in the community for breastfeeding knowledge amongst medical professionals. She created the lactation elective for pediatric residents at Cedars-Sinai, one which continues to this day. After completing her residency, Rachel received formal training in lactation through UCLA and became a Certified Lactation Educator. She is among a small handful of Southern California physicians who have this certification. Rachel is on staff at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where she is active in leadership in the Department of Pediatrics. She lives with her husband and three adorable daughters, ages 7, 4 and 1 in Los Angeles.
