Design furniture for kids are often shrunken versions of iconic classics, with little thought to how kids develop and interact with them. In this void, bObles introduced the Tumbling Animals collection, merging children's innate sense of play with adult's expectation for design, functionality and quality in children's furniture.
The pieces in the Tumbling Animals collection are bold, colorful, and geometric, with each shape providing multiple options for use. Tiltable. Rockable. Rollable. Stackable. Finding the many ways to interact with the pieces helps kids of all ages develop motor skills while igniting their imagination. Each piece in the collection can stand alone, but a herd of them provides the most fun with endless possibilities for animal friends or as a component in obstacle courses.
In addition, bObles pieces are ecologically made with toxin phthalates-free, 100% recyclable, antimicrobial, EVA foam especially tested for children's safety. The special foam renders the pieces so quiet and safe, they have even been used in hospitals and libraries. bObles are sturdy, durable and washable. And because they don't mark walls, floors, furniture or foreheads, are truly worry-free.
Bobles was created by designers Bolette Blædel and Louise Blædel, two Danish sisters. They wanted to create children's furniture that encourages play, creativity and physical exercise, while at the same time satisfying a preference for good, Danish design- pieces kids could play with and adults would want as decorative pieces on their own living rooms.
