Infant Massage: The Nurturing Touch

CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Infant massage is a wonderful way to give your child love, security, and physical comfort. During this 4-week series you will learn special massage strokes and techniques that can help reduce gas/colic and improve sleep patterns. A gentle interaction, infant massage provides an opportunity for parents to become aware of their babies subtle cues as they listen to infant sounds and observe body movements. Research studies have shown that infant massage can reduce stress levels in both parent and child. Come join us and give your baby the lifelong benefits of nurturing touch.

INSTRUCTOR BIOGRAPHY:
Barbara Zimmermann is a pediatric RN and International Board Certified Lactation Consultant who has worked with children and parents for more then 25 years. Barb is passionate about creating lifelong bonding and attachment experiences between parent and child. She completed her infant massage training with the International Association of Infant Massage USA founded by Vimala McClure in 1976 and has taught hundreds of parents across the United States the art of infant massage.

Infant massage classes are offered in both the Santa Monica and Hollywood locations. Call for dates and times.
