Laura Kleinhenz is a widely published, award-winning photojournalist, and the founder of Docuvitae, a photography agency that blends fine art and documentary technique.  After graduating with a degree in journalism from UNC Chapel Hill, Laura began working for several of the world’s leading news organizations, including The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Miami Herald, Newsweek and Time (for which she continues to work today).

One day, Laura used her collection of vintage film cameras to shoot a close friend’s wedding.  Not long after, her phone started to ring with requests from prospective private clients.  They, too, wanted beautiful fine-art photography that told their own story with journalistic integrity.   That idea led Laura to found Docuvitae (from the Latin documentum, meaning “proof” and vitae, meaning “of life”) to photograph families, weddings and private events.

Docuvitae clients include actor and director Kevin Costner, actress Mariska Hargitay, director and cinematographer David Lynch, producer and actor Henry Winkler, actor and photography collector Diane Keaton, musician Dave Grohl and his band, Foo Fighters, and producer and director Tony Bill. From Nintendo to Nikon to the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), corporate and non-profit organizations also choose Laura to creatively capture their important events.

Since his early days of Chiropractic ten years ago, Dr. Berlin has established himself as an innovative out-of-the-box thinker seeking and discovering natural solutions for some of the most difficult and mystifying ailments that people suffer with.  His persistent exploration has led him to focus on symptoms caused by the body’s natural response to internal stress.  In developing techniques to reverse the harmful effects of this nerve tension, he has successfully helped hundreds of people overcome the most difficult cases of female infertility, migraine headache, chronic fatigue, chronic neck or back pain, irritable bowel, panic attacks, insomnia, and fibromyalgia.  The success of his alternative infertility program led to the need for a comprehensive prenatal and postpartum care program.  He has become so specialized in prenatal wellness care that upwards of 80% of his patients are now pre or postnatal.  Dr. Berlin is a member of the American Pregnancy Association, Hollistic Pediatric Association, International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Doulas Association of Southern California, California Association of Midwives, American Chiropractic Association, and California Chiropractic Association.

Dr. Alyssa Berlin received her doctorate in clinical psychology at Argosy University in Atlanta, GA.  Dr. Berlin has enjoyed the opportunity to practice psychotherapy and teach throughout the country.  Her comprehensive expertise working with all members of the family unit led her to focus on the earliest stages of family development with the goal of taking early action to mitigate future problems.  Dr. Berlin recognized that when a couple is provided with prenatal and postpartum support, tools and resources, they are better able to strengthen their bond and ready their relationship for cooperative parenting.  This yields both short term and long lasting benefits for both the marriage and parent-child relationship.  Dr. Berlin is the creator of the 3rd Trimester Check-in Appointment.  Designed to help parents emotionally prepare for the upcoming birth, this unique session includes a brief overview of the transition to parenthood and a nuts and bolts approach to recognizing the warning signs and treatment options of postpartum blues vs. depression.  Dr. Berlin is currently a Certified Gottman Educator and leads the internationally acclaimed Bringing Baby Home workshop once a month.  In addition, Dr. Berlin is continuously looking for new and innovative treatment methods to share with her clients; she has completed Part 1 and is actively pursuing training in Part II of Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
