Know Your Rights
All expectant and new parents are welcome!
Given the complex array of laws applicable to expectant and new parents in California, it can be hard to figure out exactly what your rights are. Even your company’s H.R. department might not provide you with accurate information. This course will prepare you with an overview of the laws regarding pregnancy, parental leave, and lactation accommodations, so that you can ensure that you are treated fairly. Topics will include pregnancy accommodations, leaves of absence for mom or dad, and pumping at work.
