CLASS DESCRIPTION:
Do any of these thoughts or feelings sound familiar to you?
  • I don’t recognize myself anymore.
  • I feel like running away.
  • I don’t know if I am capable of being a parent.
  • No one will understand.
  • I don’t think my baby likes me.
If so, please know that you are not alone. Having a baby, as with any transition in your life, can be difficult. You are saying good-bye to your old life and learning a whole new role that you don't yet have confidence in. There will be emotional ups and downs. At times you will feel extremely vulnerable. You are trying to manage and adjust to a brand new role.

Well-intentioned friends and family members often want to help, but don’t know how. If you or someone you are close to is struggling, please consider attending our weekly support group. This group offers an opportunity to meet and connect with other parents, share your experiences, as well as learn valuable tools and resources.

Connection and community are so important on this journey into parenthood. Let us help you become #postpartumstrong.
